Terms
These are the terms for using Arvo. They are short because Arvo does one thing. Last updated 2026-09-30.
What Arvo is
Arvo is a document-preparation and fax service. It reads the denial letter you send, finds the deadline and the rules that apply to your plan, asks you what only you know, and drafts an appeal for you to review, correct, and sign. Every letter is a draft until you sign it, and it goes to your plan only when you send it, or tap “Fax it now” for Arvo to fax it at your direction.
Arvo is not a lawyer, not your representative, and not your agent, including when it faxes your appeal. Using it does not create an attorney–client relationship, and nothing it produces is legal advice. You remain the party to your appeal, and the cover sheet asks the plan to write to you, not to Arvo.
What you agree to
- You send only your own letters, or letters you are legally authorised to act on as a parent, guardian, or representative.
- You check every fact, date, and citation in a draft before you sign it. Arvo shows you what it read and lets you correct it; the deadline it finds may be inferred from the rules rather than stated on your letter, and it says so when it is.
- Deadlines are yours to meet. Arvo tells you the dates it knows; it cannot stop the clock.
- You sign yourself, by typing your full name after reading the letter, and you say truthfully whether you are the member or their parent, guardian, or legally authorized representative. Nothing is sent to an insurer unless the member signs and taps “Fax it now”, and only where faxing is available. Otherwise Arvo hands you the signed packet and you send it; a representative always sends it themselves, with proof of their authority.
Accounts
By signing in you agree that: Arvo prepares documents for you to review and sign, and faxes a packet only when you tap "Fax it now"; it is not a lawyer, and not your representative or agent in any appeal. Arvo is free during the pilot. A letter you upload while signed in, and the drafts made from it, are stored encrypted under your account until you delete them or they expire (claim details and letters 60 days after the deadline, unsigned drafts 30 days). Faxes go through Arvo's fax provider, Sinch, which keeps no pages once a fax is done. Each fax leaves a transmission record (when it went, a keyed fingerprint of the number, the page count, and the wording you agreed to; never your name or the letter), kept for six years, even after you delete your account, as proof it was sent at your direction. Your email address is used for sign-in links and appeal reminders. You can export or delete everything else from your account page at any time; anonymous win/loss statistics may be kept after deletion. You agree to receive these terms, notices, and records electronically, by email and on this site; you need a current web browser and an email account for that. You can ask for a paper copy, or change the email address on your account, by writing to maratuly.miras.zharas@gmail.com, and you can withdraw this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
How your information is handled is in the privacy policy.
Sending
Where faxing is on, tapping “Fax it now” directs Arvo to fax the packet the member signed to the number it shows, which comes from the letter or from you. Before a number read from the letter is used, you type its last four digits as printed there. Arvo faxes only for the member who signed, and only after a sign-in link opened in the last ten minutes. If the line is busy or the call drops, Arvo may resend the same packet to the same number, never more than three more times, and then tells you it could not be delivered.
Every page carries a header naming Arvo, the number it was sent from, and the time. The cover sheet asks the plan to write to you; Arvo’s number does not accept faxes. Arvo keeps a receipt with the packet’s fingerprint, and the fax provider keeps no pages once a fax is done. A transmission record (when it went, a keyed fingerprint of the number, the page count, and the wording you agreed to; never your name or the letter) is kept for six years, even after you delete your account, as proof the fax was sent at your direction.
A fax can fail, or reach only part of the way. Meeting your appeal deadline stays your responsibility: if a fax has not been delivered as the deadline nears, send the packet yourself.
Fees
There is no charge for using Arvo during the pilot. Any fee in the future would need your separate, explicit agreement before it applied to you.
Accuracy and outcomes
Drafts are generated by an AI model from your letter and your answers. They can be wrong, and the questions and the review step exist so that you catch it. Arvo makes no promise about the outcome of an appeal; that is the insurer's decision, or the reviewer's.
To the extent the law allows, Arvo is not liable for a missed deadline, an error in a draft you signed, or a decision an insurer or reviewer makes. [Counsel: confirm this clause and the governing law below.]
Electronic records
You agree to receive these terms, notices, and records electronically, by email and on this site; you need a current web browser and an email account for that. You can ask for a paper copy, or change the email address on your account, by writing to the contact address below, and you can withdraw this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
Ending things
You can stop at any time: delete your account, or send the bot /forget. Arvo may refuse or stop service to anyone who sends other people's letters, abuses the service, or breaks the law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of [state]. Changes carry a new date at the top. When the account terms change, Arvo shows you the new wording and asks you to agree before it signs or sends anything for you.
